Learning Technologies Special Interest Group – Blend Learning Using the Web and Other Tools
Speaker: Melanie Proshchenko
Learning is often an isolated event - learners come, they learn, and then wander off into the darkness never to utter a word about what they learned again. We can solve for such isolated learning, and the solution is easier than we think! Come learn from other industries how they retain the attention of their learning participants and pick up some ideas for how to use the web to continue the learning journey well after that workshop.
Dinner will be included for only $10.
About the Learning Technology SIG
This group is intended to help members expand their knowledge and capabilities around technology-enabled learning. Specifically we aim to learn more about
• Tools for design, development, and management of technology-enabled learning (mobile, e-learning, performance support, knowledge management, social, big data)
• Challenges and best practices for design, development, implementation, and evaluation of technology-enabled learning
The group relies primarily on the members to present or facilitate discussions on selected topics. The presentations aim to engage the members in discussion so that we gain from our collective expertise.
