Join us as Beth Levin interviews Sue Stevenson on the latest discoveries in neuroscience, hosted by last year’s PEAK Award Winning organization, Rady’s Children’s Hospital San Diego.

Afterwards, attendees will participate in roundtable discussions based on a real-life scenario, developed by our facilitator and Sarai McMahan, Supervisor of Revenue Cycle Training at Rady’s.

Learning Objectives:
  • Recognize how the environment, emotions, and social aspects influence meaningful learning
  • Understand the conditions necessary to stimulate creativity and innovation
  • Identify strategies to increase attention span of learners
  • Gain greater understanding about the embedding of learning
  • Explore ways to design learning that results in developing new habits and behaviors

Global Executive Coach and OD Consultant

Sue Stevenson has 20+ years of business experience in OD, HR, Global Executive Coaching, Talent, and Change Management. She has worked with multinational companies in the Life Sciences, Hospitality, Consumer Product and Technology sectors, including Elan Biopharmaceuticals, Novartis, Xerox and Forte Hotels. In 2005, she founded Lifted Fog, LLC as a Global Executive Coaching and Consulting practice. Sue has partnerships and alliances with The NeuroLeadership Group, Synergy Programs, Talentsmart, N.E.Fried & Associates, The Key Change Institute and CUSTOMatrix.

Prior to moving to the US in 2001, she lived and worked in the UK, Australia, Switzerland and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America. She has served on the board of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, the HR Strategy Forum in California, and is currently focused on teaching Brain Based coaching skills for the NeuroLeadership Group.

Sue majored in Educational Psychology at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.  She received a post-graduate qualification in HR Management; completed Executive Education programs at INSEAD, France and Harvard Business School; became a Certified Coach through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara; is accredited by the International Coach Federation; and has completed the NeuroLeadership Group Intensive Coach Training.



Beth A. Levin, M.A., B.C.C., OTR/L

Beth A. Levin, M.A., is a Board Certified Coach, certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and known as a highly effective coach and consultant. She is passionate about development and the brain and is sought after for her training, coaching, and consulting skills.  As a seasoned training and development consultant with 20+ years experience, she has successfully worked in designing and developing engaging, innovative programs on career development, performance, happiness and wellness.

 Currently, Beth is a Workforce Development Consultant at Kaiser-Permanente, where she assists employees developing and maintaining careers that THRIVE.  She also works as a coach and instructor in the BRIDGE program assisting adults in reaching their professional career goals within BioTech.   Previously, she has been a facilitator and coach for the Career Transition Program through SDSU and CSSMU extended studies; was instrumental in developing the County of San Diego’s “Mentor Magic” Mentor program; has consulted for CRM Learning on “Self Deception and Leadership” and is co-author of their popular training program, “Time Challenged.”  As an adjunct trainer for Padgett Thompson, she provided customized onsite workshops for managers nationwide, including companies such as Sony, British Petroleum and Rolls Royce.

Beth received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a B.S in Occupational Therapy.  She’s active in the NeuroLeadership Institute, has served on the ASTD-San Diego board of directors, and is a Co-Director of Soroptimist Oceanside-Carlsbad.
