Annette Weinstein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Cal Poly Pomona and spent 6 years working in the hospitality industry for major hotels. Annette's career in corporate training, her true passion, began 16+ years ago at the La Palma office of ADP. She is responsible for delivering instructor-led classroom (physical and virtual) training on technical features and functional aspects of the ADP products to both clients and associates. She currently serves as a Learning Specialist at ADP here in San Diego.
Nancy is a marketing and business development professional experienced in digital and traditional marketing. Her experience includes international marketing and sales leadership positions at major software, data security and food and food packaging companies. She uses her experience to provide insights into the planning of training and marketing video productions at Groovy Like A Movie to help clients achieve the best ROI and results from their projects.
Areas of expertise include developing effective communications across multiple, synergistic platforms; team coaching and support; establishing and communicating strategic team roles, responsibilities, goals and deliverables.
Besides the professional satisfaction she gets from helping clients gain success through great video training and story-telling, Nancy enjoys paragliding, water-skiing, and meeting people through volunteering with ATD San Diego, SDAMA, the San Diego Opera and other associations. Raymond Valenzuela has a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is currently working on a PhD in Organizational Leadership. Accumulating over 13 years of progressive experience as a senior-level learning leader, Ray specializes in designing and delivering large-scale learning strategy and working with organizations to strategically align human performance to business outcomes. His responsibilities include; developing organizational learning strategies using a systems-approach and designed to build organizational capacity; designing and developing change strategies centered around driving learning transformations; aligning learning outcomes and human performance to critical business objectives; establishing cultures that support learning internally to the organization; and using predictive analytics that feature metrics and milestones designed optimize and improve learning initiatives. Ray is currently the owner/operator of VASR Group, based out of San Diego, and works with clients internationally.

I’ve been an active member of ATD San Diego for over 10 years, serving as Membership Chair and currently PEAK Committee Chair. Both have been fulfilling in different ways, and I’ve implemented my communication and relationship building skills to create a motivated team and successful outcomes.
I’ve been privileged to participate in the Mentor/Protégé program in both roles and have been the recipient of boundless support and informal mentoring from every member I encounter. Two of my training positions, including my current one at ScrippsHealth, have come from either the ATD Job Bank or leads from ATD colleagues. I count my ATD friends as some of my most stalwart. After achieving veteran status as a credentialed educator and curriculum developer teaching primary school, high school, graduate school, and career technical and adult education, Elaine turned her focus to her current role as a corporate Instructional Systems Designer. Her technology experience comes from serving professionally in roles such as Information Technology Specialist, Systems Administrator, Technology Coordinator, and Director of Technology in education and corporate settings for over a decade.
Elaine received her Bachelor’s in Computer Arts from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, followed by dual master's degrees; a Master of Science in Educational Technology and Master of Arts in Multimedia from California State University East Bay, and continues her evolutionary journey of life long learning. Deeply passionate about design, education and technology, Elaine brings a blend of art and science to learners both in the classroom and online.
