Annette Weinstein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Cal Poly Pomona and spent 6 years working in the hospitality industry for major hotels. Annette's career in corporate training, her true passion, began 16+ years ago at the La Palma office of ADP. She is responsible for delivering instructor-led classroom (physical and virtual) training on technical features and functional aspects of the ADP products to both clients and associates. She currently serves as a Learning Specialist at ADP here in San Diego.
President Elect - Mary Jane Riccardi
Mary Jane has talent management expertise with over 30 years experience providing training and development and organization development services, managing learning systems and programs, managing performance management systems, developing and facilitating talent review and succession processes. She currently works at Kleinfelder, an engineering, science, and construction firm. Previously she worked for Bose Corporation in various T&D roles. She teaches Training & Development at UCSD San Diego Extension and has previously served on the Board as Co-Programs Director (2011/12) and Secretary (2013/14).
Mario has worked in finances for over 15 years. Among some of the companies he has worked with are Financial Profiles, Union Bank and Ernst & Young LLC. With E&Y, he was responsible for providing guidance and financial advice to upper management and top executives of several S&P 500 companies such as Colgate, Wyeth, Exxon, Citigroup and many more. .
Mario attended college at San Martin University in Lima-Peru, pursuing a degree in Education, later on taking courses in NYC.
Now as an independent advisor, Mario provides financial services to individuals, business owners, and group benefits for companies.
Norma Hernandez is Director of Operations & Organizational Development for Child Development Associates. She believes organizations must actively and tenaciously pursue progressive change to achieve their goals. Norma relishes creative approaches to problem solving that integrate the development of people, processes, and systems. Throughout CDA's extensive growth spells and program changes, Norma enjoys strategizing for individuals, groups and programs to achieve and sustain their maximum potential.
Norma is an avid life-learner and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kaplan University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix. At industry conferences and events, Norma has spoken on topics such as emerging best practices in leadership, human resources, business management, operations and administration.
Norma enjoys spending her time with family, traveling, attending local and regional concerts and cultural events. She loves animals and supports humane and ethical treatment of all living creatures.
Raymond Valenzuela has a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is currently working on a PhD in Organizational Leadership. Accumulating over 13 years of progressive experience as a senior-level learning leader, Ray specializes in designing and delivering large-scale learning strategy and working with organizations to strategically align human performance to business outcomes. His responsibilities include; developing organizational learning strategies using a systems-approach and designed to build organizational capacity; designing and developing change strategies centered around driving learning transformations; aligning learning outcomes and human performance to critical business objectives; establishing cultures that support learning internally to the organization; and using predictive analytics that feature metrics and milestones designed optimize and improve learning initiatives. Recognized for her ability to tap 'into an individual's leadership potential, Bridget brings enthusiasm and engagement to the learning environment. She has been recognized for her utilization of the ADDIE adult learning theory model including developing curriculum, facilitation workshops and creating job aids. Her workshops include: Using Creativity & Innovation to navigate Change Management, Write to be Remembered and Acing the Interview. Her training experience spans Southern California, Central Africa, West Africa and Southern China where she has coached adult and youth learners in for-profit and non-governmental organizations. Recognized as an educator in San Diego and Riverside Counties she most recently facilitated professional development workshops for Sharp Grossmont Hospital nurses and the North County Business Chamber.
Christine has over 10 years of experience in various parts of the training profession and has also worked in many different settings such as higher education, finance, biotechnology, and building her own company. She is passionate about making training as close as possible to where work takes place, so it is a cohesive experience for learners and focuses on actual performance.
Christine is currently an Instructional Designer at Illumina where her primary responsibilities include aligning training strategy with department goals, assessing priority of training development based on risk to the organization, designing training programs, and evaluating program success.
Christine received her MA in Human Resources Management from National University and she has been a CPLP since 2014.
