Practical and Tactical Approach
to Training Video Production Part 1

This terrific learning opportunity takes place at National University.  This is a beginning class for people who are new to video production.   Groovy Like A Movie Executive Producer Brent Altomare explains how to:

  • Evaluate the needs of a video learning program's audience, including demographics, psychographics, culture, quality expectations, accountability and adoption.
  • Define a video learning program's objectives so that you will be able to write measurable learning objectives and assessment items, determine an appropriate adoption rate, timelines and needed updates/maintenance.
  • Assess a video learning program's available resources including budget, timeline, and personnel.
  • Explain the pros and cons of the Hire-A-Specialist solution and identify when to use this approach. (Note:  We will be focusing on the DIY solution in this workshop.)
  • Explain the pros and cons of the DIY solution and identify when to use this approach.
  • Identify the process of the DIY solution and describe each phase including pre-production, production, and post-production.
