Speakers:


Eric Kaufman is a noted author and speaker and Founder and President of Sagatica - a strategy, facilitation and coaching firm for business executives in established and growing companies seeking to optimize untapped organizational potential.  Eric has degrees in business and psychology, management experience at Fortune 100 firms, 13 years of leadership consulting, and a quarter century of Zen practice.


Walter Watts is Training & Development Manager for Sycuan Casino and Resort, is an instructor at San Diego State University's College of Extended Studies, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Urban League of San Diego County.  Walter is also a 24-year Navy veteran, holds a Bachelor of Technical Education and a M. S. in Instructional Technology from National University, has served on the Board of Directors for the local ATD chapter, and has worked for the San Diego Workforce Partnership, San Diego City Schools, Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Sweetwater Union High School District, and various nonprofit organizations. 


Mary Schwalen is Sr. Manager, Training & Development at the Roche / Genentech Product Operations facility in Oceanside where she provides internal staff and contractors (locally and at the San Francisco headquarters) with subject matter expertise on organizational assessment, team building, coaching, and the design and implementation of leadership and employee engagement programs.


Zachary Green, Ph.D., is a co-founder of Group Relations International and is a visiting professor and holds a graduate faculty summer residency in Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego, School of Leadership and Education Sciences where he is teaching adult development, dialogue, diversity, organizational theory, and the art of consultancy.  Dr. Green is trained as a clinical psychologist and specializes in systems analysis and strategy, organizational transformation, negotiations of identity based-conflicts, leadership development, and crisis intervention. He coaches, consults, and conducts workshops and training sessions for numerous organizations including The World Bank, Brookings Institution, Microsoft, the National Children's Medical Center, and the National Laboratories at Los Alamos (NM).


Lee Wills-Irvine is Sr. Manager, HR and Inclusion & Diversity at Qualcomm Corporation, currently serves on the Governance Board of Walden Family Services, and is a member of the National Center for Women in Information Technology (NCWIT).  Wills-Irvine also served on the board of directors for LEAD San Diego and as the Board Chair of the Urban League of San Diego. Lee is a recipient of the San Diego Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business Award, has earned a B. S. in Business Administration, has received executive education in leadership from UCLA's Anderson School of Business, and a Certificate in Human Resources from Chapman University.
