Alex Yates is a transformational leader with over 20 years of change leadership and strategic communications expertise across a range of industries such as banking, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, insurance and Major League Baseball (Go Padres!). A lifelong learner with a creative approach to most everything, Alex applies 21st century neuroscience research and human-centered design to shift mindsets. He helps people choose the change.

​Alex moved from his hometown of sunny San Diego to seasonal Chicago during a snowstorm in January 2008, so he’s personally experienced transformational change. He grew up in Mira Mesa (Go Marauders!), and graduated from the School of Communication at San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!). He met his wife at NuNu's in Hillcrest and still considers San Diego home. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two kids where Alex has been voted “Dad of the Year” for eight consecutive years, in his household.
