What strategies and tools can help you quickly migrate in-person training to a virtual platform? How can you successfully facilitate and/or contribute to virtual teams? Join Melanie and Rob as they explore answers to these questions during this interactive lunch & learn, and experience the possibilities for yourself. We'll discuss strategies for learning and working virtually, including how to re-imagine traditional in-person activities, foster online collaboration and discussion, and make your team's on-screen time more efficient. Come prepared to contribute to this session with ideas and experiences of tools and strategies you and your organization use to bring social to distance.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Assess your comfort level with migrating from an in-person to virtual environment
  • Discuss strategies for supporting virtual facilitators and engaging virtual participants
  • Identify tools to facilitate interactive virtual experiences.

The capacity for resilience is a key factor in determining how people will respond to change, resilience is something that each of us can grow and strengthen in our lives.

About the Speakers:

Melanie Proshchenko, founder of Honeycomb Team Solutions, is a leadership development consultant with 20+ years of experience in designing blended learning programs, both as a consultant and as an internal learning and development practitioner. Throughout her career Melanie has helped organizations of all sizes in a wide range of industries create immediate impact, measurable results and sustainable change using a variety of learning modalities and methodologies. She carries with her a Master’s in Organizational Learning and certifications in Blended Learning and Virtual Learning.

 

Rob Tirsbier, MA, CPLP is Principal and Learning Design Consultant at RT&Co. He specializes in learning strategy, design, and development, crafting solutions that engage learners, respect project budgets and resources, and align with business goals. Over the years Rob has worked with corporate and non-profit organizations in healthcare, financial services, education, retail, and talent development. He has extensive experience helping clients navigate relationships with third-party partners on learning projects large and small. He strives to offer personalized consulting services, investing time to understand each client's unique needs and culture.
