Get good with Articulate’s Storyline, our profession’s option of choice for developing online learning support. This open forum is for learning and sharing techniques and insights. Workshops focus on a specific feature set by deconstructing entries from Articulate's eLearing challenge.  A click-along is usually included, so come logged in to Storyline, ready to learn by doing.

A guest presenter, who is active in Articulate's eLearing challenge, will show their work and reveal the techniques used to create it. It's an informal opportunity to talk shop with others who use Storyline.

 Meet Your Presenter:

John Morley has been combining words, visuals, and sound in video and interactive media for clients and employers including Hitachi Data Systems, Farmers Insurance, Southern California Edison, Kaiser Permanente, and most of the Asian car companies.

Author of the book Scriptwriting for High Impact video, he has taught at Cal State Northridge, lectured at UCLA, and conducted workshops at a variety of professional organizations and conferences.

An experienced coder, he has developed and managed numerous websites, and developed software used by clients including Saturday Night Live. After five years using Storyline at Genentech, he is now accepting assignments as an independent consultant.

Guest Presenter:

Joe Waddington, a session leader at DEVLearn, started his career as a probation officer. He took a training position to take a "break" from the caseload work, and never looked back. He's been in the training world for over 20 years. A geek at heart, he has always tried to be on the leading edge of technology in the workplace. He developed eLearning for three different state agencies and leads a community of practice for eLearning developers throughout state government, helping to identify best practices and set development standards.
