In this fast-paced, interactive presentation, you will Learn to use PowerPoint as a rapid prototyping tool for your next eLearning design project. Discover PowerPoint features, plug-ins, and add-ons that will help turn your boring presentations into engaging and impactful learner-controlled eLearning modules. Participants will walk away with a copy of the PowerPoint eLearning prototype we design together.

 Meet Your Presenter:  John Morley

John Morley has been combining words, visuals, and sound in video and interactive media for clients and employers including Genentech, Southern California Edison, Kaiser Permanente, and most of the Asian car companies.


Author of the book Scriptwriting for High Impact video, he has taught at Cal State Northridge, lectured at UCLA, and conducted workshops at a variety of professional organizations and conferences.


An experienced coder, he has developed and managed numerous websites, developed software used by clients including Saturday Night Live, and is now an independent consultant, available for assignment.


Presenter:  Kevin Storm Jorgensen

Kevin Storm Jorgensen is the Senior Training and Development Specialist at General Dynamics NASSCO where he supports the entire organization through facilitating, coordinating, and designing technical training. He’s currently chair of the General Dynamics Training Best Practices Forum where he oversees the creation of training standards used by all business units.


Kevin is also a University Lecturer for the Learning Design and Technology department at San Diego State University.


Kevin transitioned into training from a career in photography, video, and television production. His previous work includes conducting celebrity junkets and red-carpet interviews as a producer with The Hollywood Reporter TV. That transition from television entertainment news has provided Kevin with a unique perspective on the use of video production processes and technologies in instructional design.
