Technical Training Development; Lunch and Learn
Where: Virtual
When: Tuesday, January 16; 12:00 - 1:00 pm Pacific time
Technical training is arguably the most widely developed, and certainly most necessary type of knowledge transfer: How to actually create the products and deliver the services that are the base of any organization’s existence. And it’s different from developing learning support for compliance, leadership, coaching, and other soft skills.
This is your opportunity to munch on lunch as your learn how to:
- Leverage techniques that work best for tech training, rather than a data dump or techniques mostly appropriate for soft-skills learning.
- Develop a tone and feel that is most persuasive for each audience.
- Base your design on how a learner’s brain actually works.
- Chunk and reinforce information to make it stick.
- Make training a continuing process rather than an event.
