This Month's Topic: Making it Accessible

Accessibility isn’t just a checkbox for government work anymore. Learners expect it, organizations are increasingly held accountable for it, and instructional designers are expected to build it in—not bolt it on later.

The good news: creating accessible eLearning in Articulate Storyline is faster and more achievable than ever.

In this workshop, you’ll learn from a recognized accessibility expert how to design and publish Storyline courses that meet accessibility expectations while staying efficient and on schedule. We’ll cover the core guidelines and legal requirements you need to understand, then focus on what matters most: how Storyline’s built-in features make accessibility easier to implement correct.

Guest Speaker: Yvonne Urra-Bazain

Yvonne Urra-Bazain's work is informed by experience problem solving for state agencies, medical companies, sales groups, and a decade of instructional and curriculum design experience as a K-6 educator.

A recognized accessibility expert, she serves as an industry presenter for virtual and in-person conferences, including being the monthly facilitator of Accessibility Co-Lab hosted by the Global Learning and Development Community (GLDC. And has spoken at Articuland.

She has contributed five chapters to the edited volume, Design for All Learners: Create Accessible and Inclusive Learning Experience published by ATD Press, that was shortlisted for the getAbstract 2025 International Book Award for the category of Learning Impact.
